These are just a few of the incidents that led Jason Frost and his wife to start Human Wired, an organization dedicated to protecting children from online harm and exploitation. As former teachers, they witnessed the loss of innocence with the rise of social media– and it devastated them. Â
What started as a tool for connection transformed into the most profitable data mining technology, and our children are the products that fuel the profits. The core of social media is predatory AI that seeks to keep kids hooked – at any cost. The algorithm predicts what content will resonate most and serves it up without regard for appropriateness. The content is often shocking and harmful, but ‘engagement’ is the only metric that matters to Big Tech. Â

Jason Frost is the Co-founder and CEO of Wired Human, an organization dedicated to protecting children from online harm and exploitation. He co-authored The Glass Between Us: Empowering Youth to Combat Digital Exploitation with his wife, Lisa, a teacher and passionate advocate for youth education.
With a Master’s in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from Viadrina University, specializing in Children’s Rights in the Digital Age, Jason brings deep expertise to his work. He is the co-founder of the D.C. Roundtable for Child Online Safety, a groundbreaking initiative that unites key stakeholders and empowers youth to co-create solutions for online safety.
Jason’s advocacy has reached national platforms, equipping young leaders to share their stories and spearhead initiatives, including youth-led roundtables on Capitol Hill. His work has been featured by CNN, Fox News, and The New York Times, where he calls for Big Tech accountability and regulation to safeguard the digital future.
